Skipped & Rescheduled Cleans
We use the size of each home, the level of clean, and the frequency of cleans to determine your cleaning cost. We offer frequency discounts for recurring clients so they do not pay the full cost of a one-time clean each time we come. The discounts are 45% off for weekly, 35% off for bi-weekly, and 30% off for monthly clients. These discounts are based on the fact that the more often a home is cleaned, the less time it will take and the less it should cost.When cleans are skipped or rescheduled much later than their original date, we are less likely to be able to clean the home within our normal time frame. Now we realize that is not always the case and there are some exceptions. For example, a client may skip cleans while they are away on vacation and their home goes unused for an extended period. Or a client may clean their own home between professional cleans. Those are situations where cleans are skipped, but additional time may not be needed. Our policies are written in a way to account for those special exceptions.
Let’s go over some possible scenarios where fees or additional charges may be needed:
You skip your next clean and give us MORE than a 24-hour notice:
You will not be charged a late cancellation fee, but your next clean may take longer and you may be charged for the additional time.
You skip your next clean and give us LESS than a 24-hour notice:
You will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Your next clean may take longer and may result in additional time.
You need to reschedule your clean and give us MORE than a 24-hour notice:
You will not be charged a 50% cancellation fee. If you move your clean to 1-7 days after your original scheduled time you will not be charged for any additional time. If you move your clean to 8 or more days after your original scheduled time you may be charged for additional time.
You need to reschedule your clean and give us LESS than a 24-hour notice:
You will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. If you move your clean to 1-7 days after your original scheduled time you will not be charged for any additional time. If you move your clean to 8 or more days after your original scheduled time you may be charged additional time.
Your cleaner is either unable to get into your home at the time of cleaning or you turn the cleaner away:
You will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Your next clean may take longer and may result in additional time.
Explanation of fees and additional charges:
50% Cancellation Fee:
This fee is used to cover the cleaner’s lost hours for the day if we are unable to send them to a different job. They rely on the hours of this job and we work very hard to give them as many as they need. When cleans are canceled at the last minute it takes hours away from them and hurts them more than it hurts the company.
Additional Time Charge:
If your next clean does NOT take any additional time, we will not charge you for additional time.If it DOES take additional time, we will reach out to you before the end of your clean to find out if you would like us to focus on priority areas during the time you have already paid for or if you would like to pay for additional time to complete the clean. Additional time is charged at a rate of $55 per labor hour.
Freebies
Every client is allowed 1 “freebie” last-minute cancelation or reschedule yearly.
